The ELI-NP Guest House

We offer User teams visiting us to perform their approved experiments at ELI-NP the possibility of booking accommodation in our very own Guest House, located on-site within a few steps of the Experimental and Office Buildings.
The ELI-NP Guest House offers a total of 19 modern, en-suite bedrooms, for the price of 25 EUR per night, with the possibility of also having breakfast included for an additional 5 EUR per day.

Reaching ELI-NP via public transport

ELI-NP is located in Măgurele, Ilfov County, just on the outskirts of the capital city of Bucharest. A drive from central Bucharest to ELI-NP generally takes no more than 30 minutes. In order to reach our facility from the "Henri Coandă" International Airport (OTP) using public transport, the cheapest and fastest way is to first travel to Bucharest by train. A single journey to Bucharest's main train station ("Gara de Nord") takes 20-25 minutes and costs 5 RON. Tickets can be purchased from the machines located at the airport's train station. Trains depart to Bucharest every 20-30 minutes and more information concerning their timetable can be found at the following link (https://www.cfrcalatori.ro/en/bucuresti-nord-railway-station-henri-coanda-airport/). The final stop of the airport shuttle trains is "Gara de Nord" and from there, the easiest way to continue your journey to our facility is by boarding trolleybus no. 96. It will then take 15 stops and approximately 23 minutes before you will reach the stop "Tăcerii", where you will need to switch to bus no. 487 and ride it for 17 stops and approximately 16 minutes all the way to its final stop - ELI-NP, Măgurele.
