Getting to ELI-NP by public transport
ELI-NP is located in Magurele, Ilfov County, just on the outskirts of Bucharest, a 30-minute drive from the city centre.
In order to reach the facility from Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, the best (cheapest and fastest) way is to first go to Bucharest by train.
One journey to Bucharest's main train station (Gara de Nord) takes 20 to 25 minutes, it costs 5 RON and can be bought also by Credit Card. The
tickets can be procured directly from the train, at the train station in the airport or from the ticketing machines.
The trains depart from the station every 20-30 minutes.
Find more information following this link.
The final stop of this train is "GARA DE NORD" train station and from there, the easiest way to continue towards our facility is taking 96 TROLLEYBUS.
It will take 15 stops and approximately 23 minutes until station TACERII, where you should change your transportation with 487 BUS up to the final stop, at
ELI-NP-Magurele (17 stops and approximately 16 minutes). You can plan our trip using this link.
Coming by car
Depending on the route: you will pass over the bridge (4) if you are coming from Bucharest, or under it if coming
from the Ring road (Eastbound or Westbound).
After 100 m, you will enter a roundabout (3) and you should take left (third exit).
After a few hundred meters, passing through a forest, there is a street going right, just after it.
Follow the road (orange dotted on the map below) and there you are, in ELI-NP Parking (0).
For an alternative car like UBER or BOLT you can pay a sum between 10-20 EURO (leaving point Gara De Nord station) depending on the traffic hour.
